Genpact’s capital optimization approach combines top-down attribution and sensitivity analysis with granular bottom-up, data-lineage-based analysis to unlock capital benefits. Our top-down approach utilizes a cloud-enabled capital optimization tool to independently recalculate and generate detailed results. This allows for thorough attribution and sensitivity analysis, identifying the asset classes, portfolios, customers, and sub-portfolios that contribute to capital. Once the major contributors to capital are identified, we perform a detailed data lineage analysis. This involves tracing data flow from source systems to reporting fields to identify the key data fields driving capital, as well as proxies, adjustments, and interpretations that can be changed or remedied to realize capital benefits.
